Collection: Heart & Mind

    I had the great fortune to read a book entitled "The Book Of Hope-A Survival Guide For Trying Times" by Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams.

I have always been in awe of Jane Goodall's quiet determination and nurturing spirit. So adept at bringing issues of dire importance into focus; leaving no doubt that every action no matter how small can lead to great change.

Waking up each morning to a new crisis has been a bitter pill for me to swallow. Forever the eternal optimist I have felt increasingly uneasy and helpless in the face of such negativity- my hope for change dwindling.  But hope is what propels us forward and leads us towards the discovery of even greater hope and with that positive change. We all need to be reminded of that and take responsibility to create our own nugget of hope. 

Heart & Mind is my nugget of hope for change.  I have created this collection specifically to donate proceeds directly to the Jane Goodall Institute USA, which continues to make huge contributions to the preservation of this planet and HOPE.

It is my hope that the Heart & Mind collection will be a wearable reminder of how small and fragile this world is and that it is our responsibility to care for it. For us and for all that come after.
